How much would it cost to buy a BMW R75?

My friends are gay for motorcycles, but Im not to big in them. They kept trying to match me to a bike so I finnally said I want a BMW R75, and there like, good luck youll never afford that. I got to think about it and it would be cool to have since I want to persue reeanacting, and my friends would drool on it. I want to know the cost for one that runs.|||Yeah, what James said, you twit!

The R-75 is one of the most collectible War Era Airheads ever built. It's practically bullet proof. But it's rare and parts are dear. It's also a sidecar rig. You have no idea what you're babbling about so stay away from the game.

IF you want to impress your friends, get a Sportster, chrome it out and drop the mufflers....very very cool.|||You sound like a total twit. Until you have a better reason for owning a motorcycle than impressing your buddies, stay away from motorcycling. You'll just get hurt.|||If you really want a WWII style BMW, look at a Ural. At the end of WWI the Russians marched into Munich where BMWs were made. They took away all the tooling and for the next 50 years or so they made the exact same motorcycle in Russia. Just in the last few years it's been re-engineered and improved considerably.

Otherwise what you want is an 'airhead'. The ones made in the 70s and 80s are best. I have a 1978 R80/7 and it is a wonderful bike even today. You could pay anywhere between $2000 and $4000, depending on what work it needs.|||The BMW was a pale copy of the Zundapp KS750, if you want to be accurate in your re-enacting that is the model you need (at least $12,000 for a ropey one).|||buy a harley
