How many miles will a 1995 BMW engine run for?

I just bought a 1995 530i BMW with 200,000 miles, how many more miles can i get out of it?|||As long as this engine is properly tended to you could go for ever as long as you don't abuse it|||It depends on many factors, the way in which you drive. Smooth acceleration is always best for the engine. Regular maintenance, high grade engine oil, premium grade petrol, etc. If all goes well, it should last another 200,000 miles.|||250000 maybe if mantained good|||/ If you maintain the engine regularly, it will last nearly forever!

Maintaining the engine regularly involves no skimping. It means doing what needs to be done when or before it needs to be done.

Regular oil changes with the proper oil, tune ups, premium gasoline, and sensors kept in proper running order are key to a BMW that will last a lifetime.|||it's not like they have an expiration date. as long as it's properly maintained, it'll keep on chugging. I've heard of people getting 500k miles out of BMW engines with just basic service.|||My uncle had a mid 90's 5 series, he had it running on the stock engine up until 340,000. Then he decided to give it up. Some BMW enthusiast bought it on Ebay for around $2200!
