What is the lifespan of a BMW on the average?

I've been driving Honda's for years and have had great experience with them regarding the miles driven (usually 180,000 plus miles). I found a good deal on a BMW 325i but it has 116,000 miles on it. If the price is great would this be a good buy?|||mine has 122k and its still going strong. assuming its been taken good care of, the bmw engines can last 300k and up, in other words the engine will most likely outlive the car itself.

starting from2001, id say a 'great' price would be around $7k going up about $2k per year for that car|||Sure, there are plenty of them driving around still. If you take care of the car it's just like any other. Also there is no problem getting spare parts. You get a good engine and transmission. And unlike your Honda you get rear wheel drive.

Good luck with the buy.|||The lifespan on a BMW is just like any other brand of car... you take care of it, make all needed repairs (body and engine) and the car will/can last forever. If the car is in good condition and has been taken care of, I wouldn't worry about 116,000 miles.
