How reliable is the Audi A6 compared to BMW 5 series?

im looking to buy either a 2007 audi A6 or a 2008 BMW 528xi. the audi has 55K miles and the BMW has 66 miles. the bmw costs about 1500 more. but i want to know how long the A6 would last and how long the BMW would last (how long will it drive well - mileage)? and one more question, are they both good in the snow? Thanks!|||Both cars will be very reliable provided they've been serviced properly to this point and maintained properly in the future. All wheel drive is good in the snow BUT NOT IF YOU DON'T PUT THE PROPER TIRES ON IT. All wheel drive doesn't cure stupid driving.

I know people with both Audis and BMWs that have well over 150,000 miles. As I said, take care of the maintenance and the car will take care of you. If you think you're just going to hop in and drive and never spend a dime on upkeep then no car will last.|||Audi A6 for sure, hands down. I personally think Audi鈥檚 are a better make, and they are known for 鈥榪uattro鈥? 4WD/AWD 鈥?which is the best in the snow. I wouldn鈥檛 worry too much about the mileage because the A6 will last a long time and will drive well too. I have owned Audi鈥檚 and they always keep their value. Awesome cars, great ride and look sweet too!

Here are more photos of the A6

I personally love them both but for your situation I would say the audi a6 is your best bet. Both cars are pretty durable (with them both being luxury cars if they break a dealership fix is in mind) I would recommend you find out everything about both...but the audi for snow is my take on it.|||Audi A6 - Its comfort features include 7 arm dynamic styling like sport saloon, CD changer in the glove box, DSP sound system with 6 channel amplifier, 10 loudspeakers, adaptive light, eluxe automatic air conditioning, electrically adjustable front seats, multi media interface (MMI) infotainment system, radio operated remote control, multitronic gear system etc. Safety features that are available distinctly in this model are acoustic parking system (APS) front and rear, eletromechanical parking brake, automatic rain and light sensor system, pyrotechnic front seat belts, central locking system, serotronic power assistance etc.
