What minor modifications can i do to my 1992 BMW 525i to get more horsepower?

i recently purchased a BMW '92 525i manual, and would like to squeeze some extra horsepower engine. I do not have much for funds, are there any cheap modifications i can do to generate more horsepower?|||There is virtually nothing you can do affordably that will increase the horsepower.

But since it's an old car, you might be able to RECOVER some lost horsepower with a good service. Changing out dirty air filter and old spark plugs, using an injector cleaner, ensure you have the correct tire pressures... all can help.

Also, make sure you clean your car out and not have unnecessary stuff (= weight) stored in the car.

Of course, use a good oil for the engine.|||Theres some cheap ECU chips available on eBay for around $40. I have used a them on my 88 and 89 535s and have been very happy with both.

im not sure if this is the correct one but it should be. This isn't the same one I used but it should help. for $40 its worth a shot. Its by far the cheapest bang for your buck.
