How much would it cost to replace the tail lights on a 2002 bmw 525i?

I am planning on buying the BMW for $6900, but the tail lights are broken. Is that a good price? It has 160,000 mileage. Should the price be lowered because of the broken tail lights?|||for both tail lights ... would be somewhere around $300 - $400... price range for one are between $149 to $199|||Look on eBay. Your car is an E39 body model which was produced from 97-03. The tail lights from any of these years will fit. You can easily find 2 tail lights for less than $100.


That seems like a decent price for the car. However, if it is an automatic transmission and it hasn't been replaced. it will probably go out before too many more miles. It will also need front suspension work if none has been done to date. You should also make sure you ask if the cooling systems has been replaced.


They are good cars and the engines will go to 300K miles. I have one that has 210K miles on it and it is still going strong.
