I recently purchased a 2003 BMW 525i from a dealer and the last owner mounted a phone on the passenger side dash. Also there is an antenna installed on the rear window at the very top. I am not very good with these kinds of jobs but is there a website or would the owner's manual have directions to uninstall this? Or should I take it to a professional? If so could someone estimate the cost! Thanks in advance!|||There's a story on AOL this morning about some automotive sound shop that allegedly caused $12,000 worth of damage trying to retro-fit a GPS system into an older BMW. Experts say that Bimmers are so finicky that messing with the electronics is almost guaranteed to cause problems.
I'd take it to a pro and get some kind of guarantee up front.
